When mortals turn their backs on gods, those gods will return with a vengeance.

Gavyn’s no hero. In fact, after a group of psychos claiming to be Sumerian gods resurface in a destructive display of power and demand the surrender of the world’s heroes, Gavyn only thinks, “Wow. Sucks to be them.” So when an old hag, who’s quite likely an ancient witch, and a young, gorgeous woman, for whom he’d at least pretend to be a hero, show up at his door insisting he’s one of the heroes the Sumerians are after, he’s skeptical…and more than a little annoyed.

But they won’t take no for an answer, and Gavyn finds himself being transported halfway across the world to an actual, honest-to-some-god training camp for men and women who embrace their destinies to safeguard Earth. And while he had every intention of continuing his stubborn refusal to become the hero the Norse gods need him to be, his own ancestor has different ideas. The dreams that connect him to a past no one can remember hint at an old deception, and the Sumerians aren’t the only enemy the Norse will have to face.

In the first book of the Heroes of Asgard series, Gavyn must accept who—and what—he is, because the forgotten gods of ancient religions have returned. And they’ll no longer be ignored.

What's the only thing worse than a bunch of Sumerian gods trying to kill you? A bunch of Sumerian and Egyptian gods trying to kill you.

Gavyn isn’t terribly surprised when the Sumerians get company for their plans of world domination, but the Egyptians pack an extra punch: many of them can shape shift into ferocious animals. But he and the other heroes are running out of time to train, and no matter how much he still wants to escape his fate, he’s drawn more and more into the conflict that will soon consume Earth and mortals everywhere.

But the Sumerians also know about Havard’s sword, and they claim it used to belong to them…and they want it back. Knowing the Sword of Light may be the key to either side’s victory, its discovery has turned into a race, but Havard’s slowly revealed memories aren’t exactly helping.

In the second book of the Heroes of Asgard series, Gavyn evolves into the hero the Norse always believed he’d become. But each new memory of Havard’s life only complicates his quest, because the gods he must rely on the most may be the gods he should never trust.

The world is burning, and Asgard will follow. And no one will walk away from this inferno unscathed.

Escaping Sumer II is only the beginning. From the labyrinth of horrors to a hometown under siege, the stakes are becoming increasingly personal for Gavyn whose destiny is so closely tied to the Sword of Prophecy.

But each victory Gavyn and his allies have claimed thus far seems inconsequential when one of them falls. As Havard gradually reveals the truth about the sword and his murder, Gavyn is confronted witha truth he’s known all along: Asgard has a traitor, and betrayals can cost everything.

The fate of two worlds depends on one hero. One man to save humanity’s freedom. And one man to save the gods of Asgard.

Gavyn has come a long way in accepting his role as the hero both worlds need, but without the Sword of Asgard, his death will be in vain. Ninurta and Inanna have found a way to make themselves more powerful, and the Sumerians’ allies will only complicate Gavyn’s mission to protect mankind from their tyranny.

But finding the Sword of Asgard is only the beginning of the end for Gavyn. With enemies capable of casting powerful spells, he and his friends will have to fight their way through deadly illusions and deadlier monsters. Reaching the gods responsible for declaring war on Earth and Asgard may be the greatest challenge for them yet.

In the final book of the Heroes of Asgard series, Gavyn will learn how he is connected to Havard and what happened to the god of war who’s been haunting his dreams. And as he faces the most powerful enemies he’s ever fought, he will finally discover what being a hero really means.
